"One thing that strikes everybody about The Melbourne Film Studio is the quality of the stage," says David Parker. "The fact is that it is actually a stage of world class standard. For instance, take the sound quality you can achieve in there. It records terrifically well as most sound recordists will tell you. it's not a completely 'dead' room, because of the differences in the absorbing material in the walls and on the ceiling, but a low-flying helicopter would virtually have to land on the roof for any noise to get inside."
